Whitehaven

The port town of Whitehaven can be found on the west coast of Cumbria. Close by is the Lake District National Park and other towns in the region is places such as Barrow-in-Furness and Carlisle although both is around 40 miles away. About 24,000 people are living in Whitehaven which mostly developed around the huge coal deposits in the region. Barrow-in-Furness

The port town of Barrow-in-Furness is located in Cumbria. Close to the Lake district at the tip of the Furness peninsula Barrow-in-Furness is adjoined by the Irish Sea, Morecambe Bay and the Duddon Estuary. Wigton

The market town of Wigton lies in the Allerdale borough of Cumbria. It used to be part of Cumberland and is located just outside the borders of the Lake District in the borough of Allerdale. As far as public transport is concerned there is the Wigton railway station which is lying on the Cumbrian Coast Line.
